Screen Queensland is excited to announce the launch of the Talent Camp initiative with the Australian Film, Television & Radio School (AFTRS). The initiative is particularly targeted at storytellers from underrepresented communities (including cultural background, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, geographic disadvantage and socio-economic status) who are looking to build a career in the screen industry. We are keen to get the word out far and wide and would be grateful if council could share this opportunity with its local creatives via email, newsletter or social media. Below is a media release regarding the initiative and more info is available at http://www.aftrs.edu.au/short-courses/talent-camp.
Please feel free to share this release with anyone you think may be interested or link people to the Talent Camp initiative page http://www.aftrs.edu.au/short-courses/talent-camp. Applications close Monday 28 August 2017.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this initiative further please contact firstname.lastname@example.org / 1300 065 281
Please also let me know if you’d like me to continue to share SQ opportunities that might be relevant to your community and I’ll gladly add you to our mailing lists.
All the best,
